Managing positions¶
A position in FitRadarHR is a record associated with a target Big Five profile — the "ideal personality" defined by HR for this role.
What you can do¶
- Create a position with its title (FR and EN), its department and its target team
- Define the target profile — desired range for each of the 5 OCEAN dimensions
- View the ranking of people by Fit directly on the position page (filterable by Candidate / Employee)
- Archive a position when it's no longer active
- Generate a fit report comparing a person's profile to the position's target profile
Link with departments and teams¶
A position can be attached to a department (e.g. R&D, Sales) and to a target team (e.g. Backend Team). If a team is set, a candidate's profile report automatically displays the corresponding Team Fit next to the Position Fit.
Concept: the target profile¶
Rather than a single value per dimension, FitRadarHR uses a min/max range. Example for a sales position:
| Dimension | Min | Max | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Openness | 40 | 70 | Moderate creativity, not necessarily exploratory |
| Conscientiousness | 60 | 90 | Rigor and organization matter |
| Extraversion | 65 | 100 | Strong relational ease desired |
| Agreeableness | 50 | 80 | Cooperative without being overly accommodating |
| Neuroticism | 0 | 40 | Emotional stability matters |
Range vs single value
The range avoids over-constraining the profile. "Agreeableness between 60 and 80" is more realistic than an exact value of 70.
