Reading the report¶
The radar chart¶
The chart overlays two shapes: - Blue — the person's profile (scores 0–100 per dimension) - Green — the position's target profile (midpoint of the range)
When the blue profile is inside the range on a dimension → good proximity. When it is outside → a gap to interpret in context.
Proximity scores¶
For each dimension, a proximity score is calculated: - 100% / ✓ — the person's score is within the target range - < 100% — the score is outside the range, the percentage indicates the relative distance
OCEAN tooltips¶
Hover over a dimension label (Openness, Conscientiousness…) to display a short explanation of what a high or low score means on that dimension. Useful for interpreting results without psychometric expertise.
Interpreting gaps
A gap is not disqualifying. A slightly-below-target extraversion score can be offset by other qualities. The report informs — the decision belongs to the HR user or manager.
Points to explore in interview¶
If one or more dimensions are outside the target range, a dedicated section appears at the bottom of the report. For each dimension concerned, FitRadarHR suggests a question angle to explore in interview — phrased neutrally and in context.
These are not verdicts
"Points to explore" are suggested questions, not conclusions. A score outside the range does not disqualify a candidate. It's a starting point for a human conversation.
